La Parroquia began more than 90 years ago in front of the Parroquia de la Asunción, now the Cathedral of Veracruz. A small bakery that on April 1, 1926 would become La Parroquia de Veracruz. It currently has 32 branches, a coffee marketer and its own farms. Since then, La Parroquia has been a landmark, not only in Veracruz, but in all of Mexico; and it is the meeting point for all: politicians, workers, sailors, fishermen, settlers and merchants; where they meet to enjoy the wonderful coffee grown in the region, and the exquisite food.
